Start by creating a share link. Select the folder you would like to share for the Desktop App, here you can use the "Create share" sub menu. It is the share option that control what the Desktop App can see and do, just like on a regular shares links and also with two factor authentication.
If you would like to use the auto download feature, then you can control what formats the Desktop App shall download by selecting formats from the orange menu.
The create a name for the link and click on the "copy link"
Open the Desktop App and paste the link into the window
Then you can then see the share link and navigate just like in the browser.
Click on the 3 dots top right corner by the logo.
Select the "Share settings"
Here you can manage the upload and download locations and they are individual from each share link, so it opens up the possibility to have multiple workflows upload and downloading.
Select the auto download button and remember that it is the share permission you give when you create the share links in ioGates that controls what the Desktop App will do. Uploaded files will go the share root folder.
There is no limit on how many share links you can have in the Desktop App. Use use "+" to add more share links.
